Pastor Vince Button
1964-2017

Pastor and Mrs. ButtonPastor Vince Button was born in Winamac, Indiana on June 12, 1964.  After the third grade, he moved north to the community of Koontz Lake, Indiana, where he graduated from Oregon-Davis High School in 1982.

After graduation, he moved back to Winamac.  On the night of May 31, 1983, Pastor L.C. (Bud) Hall of the First Baptist Church of Winamac knocked on his door and lead him to Christ!

In July, 1985, he married his childhood sweetheart, Danette Roe.  In 1986, they moved to Haines City, Florida to attend Landmark Baptist College.  During this time, Pastor Button was blessed to sit under the teaching of Dr. Mickey Carter and many other great men of God.  Following graduation from college in 1990, Pastor Button and his family moved back to North Carolina, where he served as the Assistant Pastor of Bible Baptist Church of Hope Mills.

In October 1991, Pastor Button moved to West Virginia and accepted his position as Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Pinch.

On December 12, 2017, Pastor Button was called Home to be with the Lord.

Pastor and Danette Button have been blessed by the Lord with three daughters, Jennifer, Samantha, and Victoria.  First Baptist Church of Pinch and the local community have been blessed with Pastor Button and his family.
